The demand has enforced the production of herbal lipsticks as an alternative and sustainable product to the conventional synthetic lip products apparently due to increased consumer preference to natural, eco-friendly and health-conscious cosmetics. Not only are they highly pigmented and long-wearing, these lipsticks are made with plant-based ingredients-- like Alkanet, Beetroot and Hibiscus-- which are hydrating, antioxidant protecting and anti-inflammatory in nature.
