Now a days, there is a special attention towards nanotech aided drug delivery system. In that this overview is focussed on several applications of Solid Lipid Nanoparticles based drug administration through various routes of administration. Beside this, the overview also concerns for photo-protective cosmetics and nutraceutical formulations, as some additional SLN’s employed trends in the modern world. Nanotech aided drug delivery is employed to overcome the challenges and limitations of conventional procedures. SLNs are adaptable nanocarriers that have been used to enhance the healing properties of various compounds. As a successful and prospective substitute, solid lipid nanoparticles (SLNs) have evolved. The SLNs are a reliable and secure drug delivery system. It has the ability to modulate drug release, target drug delivery to certain cells and tissues, and encapsulate both lipophilic and hydrophilic drug molecules, it offers enormous potential for use. This overview is to give the up to date combined and advanced data of applications
