constant therapeutic levels of the drug for over 24hrs. By using different ratios of synthetic polymers like Ethyl cellulose,
Eudragit RL100, Natural polymers like Moringa gum and Tamarind gum were employed as polymers. All the formulations
were passed various physicochemical evaluation parameters and they were found to be within limits. Whereas from the
dissolution studies it was evident that the formulation (F11) showed better and desired drug release pattern i.e., 100.6% in 24
hours. It contains the Tamarind gum 1:2 ratio as sustained release material. It followed Higuchi release kinetics mechanism.
<Email>bgrmphilbed@gmail.com</Email><articletype>Research</articletype><volume>7</volume><issue>2</issue><year>2017</year><keyword>Tramadol HCl,Sustained release system,Natural and Synthetic Polymers</keyword><AUTHORS>J.Pavani,B.Deepika,K.Nagaraju,K.Rajeshwar Dutt,K.N.VRao,K.Regupathi,Ramya Sri Sura</AUTHORS><afflication>Department of Pharmaceutics, Nalanda College of Pharmacy, Charlapally, Nalgonda, Telangana, India.,Department of Pharmaceutics, Nalanda College of Pharmacy, Charlapally, Nalgonda, Telangana, India.,Department of Pharmaceutics, Nalanda College of Pharmacy, Charlapally, Nalgonda, Telangana, India.,Department of Pharmaceutics, Nalanda College of Pharmacy, Charlapally, Nalgonda, Telangana, India.,Department of Pharmaceutics, Nalanda College of Pharmacy, Charlapally, Nalgonda, Telangana, India.,Department of Pharmaceutics, Nalanda College of Pharmacy, Charlapally, Nalgonda, Telangana, India.,Research Scholar, Department of Pharmaceutics, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad.</afflication></Article></Articles>
