<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><Articles><Article><id>66</id><JournalTitle>AN OVERVIEW  OF TABLETS  MANUFACTURING  PROCESS</JournalTitle><Abstract>Tablet  is  Pharmaceutical  dosage.  It  is  combine  a  mixture  of ex cipients ,  and  active  pharmaceutically  ingredient   (API) 
generally  is in  powder form, pressed or compacted from a powder into a solid dose. It include diluents, binders  or granulating 
agents,  glidant  (flow aids) and lubricants to ensure efficient  tableting ; disintegrants to promote tablet break-up in the digestive 
tract; sweeteners or flavours to enhance taste; and pigments to make the tablets visually attractive. A poly mer coating is often 
applied  to  make  the tablet smoother and easier to swallow, to control the release rate of the active ingredient, to make it m ore 
resistant  to  the  environment  (extending  its  shelf  life),  or  to  enhance  the  tablet's  appearance.  The   main   purpose   of
