better therapeutic effect. Flutamide niosomes was prepared by thin film hydration method using drug, span 60 and cholesterol
in different ratios. The formulations were optimized from the above method with respect to vesicle shape, entrapment
efficiency, drug content, compatibility studies and in vitro drug release. The FT-IR spectra shows the drug and excipients were
compatible. The in vitro release studies indicates that all the formulation exhibits retarded release for 24 hrs and its release
mechanism was followed by Higuchi order kinetics.
<Email>navyamns91@gmail.com</Email><articletype>Research</articletype><volume>5</volume><issue>1</issue><year>2015</year><keyword>Niosomes, Span 60,Anti-Cancer,Non-Ionic Surfactant</keyword><AUTHORS>Navya MN,S Parthiban,J.Adlin Jino Neasalin,A.Vikneswari</AUTHORS><afflication>Department of Pharmaceutics, Bharathi College of Pharmacy, Bharathinagara, Mandya, Karnataka-571422, India,Department of Pharmaceutics, Bharathi College of Pharmacy, Bharathinagara, Mandya, Karnataka-571422, India,Department of Pharmaceutics, Bharathi College of Pharmacy, Bharathinagara, Mandya, Karnataka-571422, India,Department of Pharmacy Practice, Bharathi College of Pharmacy, Bharathinagara, Mandya, Karnataka-571422, India</afflication></Article></Articles>
